# VP9 HDR fix please

Hi,

Any chance VP9 HDR support could be fixed to play with proper HDR colours?

Here’s the info about the video (mkv)

The player (Google TV streamer) supports the format. It actually plays the same video in youtube app just fine. The video was downloaded to plex. It plays in proper HDR when transcoding, but washed out when direct play is used…  
Any ideas?

I just checked today and it seems that Jellyfin doesn’t have that issue…

It direct plays the file with no issues just like youtube on the same device (Google TV streamer)

Plex app on windows, no issues as well…  
Plex app for android (mobile) flawless…  
So I believe it’s Plex app’s for Android TV problem…
