I have trouble when I watch on a windows Browser, on my iPad, or ROKU the watched status of a particular PRIOR show doesn’t change, so when I press play, it always goes back to an old show. I tried marking the show, entire season, etc. as watched and episode #2 (in this example) just can’t be fully marked as watched despite me trying many ways. I am running plex on a qnap NAS.

Is there some type of DB that is having issues on the back end that won’t let an episode watched status change?

[Enable ‘debug’ logging](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201643703 "Enable 'debug' logging") on your server (do **not** enable ‘verbose’)
Restart Plex Server
Wait 3 minutes, with out doing anything in Plex
[Grab log files](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200250417 "Grab log files") and search for presence of the word `corrupt` in the `Plex Media Server.log` file

If there are messages about database corruption, try to repair it:
