# Web client: Set up buffer size?

Web Client
As per title, I have been watching content remotely (via VPN) to be fair it was good e.g. no interruptions even though I noticed the quality going up and down at time probably because the server is reducing the bit/rate automatically as needed.
With that introduction I have also noticed that the web player does buffer a certain amount of data (e.g. like youtube does). I can’t find anywhere in the configuration a setting that specifies how much data/minutes to buffer. Is this tweakable at all?

No it is not.
If you want more buffer or generally a better playback experience, try using Plex Media Player.
It allows you to raise the buffer size up to 500MB (although I wouldn’t recommend to actually go that far up.)
