# Webhooks on Plexamp for Desktop

Player Version#: 3.7.1 (On Mac)
I wrote a python program that handles the webhooks, and adjust the color of my IoT light based on the album art.
However, I found out that webhooks seem to be only triggered when I move forward on my playlist, but when playing previous song.
Is it because it’s cached, even though I’ve set the caching to only the next track.
Also sometimes it plays the music, but never triggers the `media.play` event, most notably when I’ve played the song before.
This problem only persists on PlexAmp, so I doubt it’s server issue, most probably it’s just using cached data, instead of triggering a new fetch from the server.
