I just installed the latest update and checking my server, the PlexTranscoder is running continually, using around 75% of my CPU resources. But I have no streams and no transcodes/syncs going. So…what’s it doing?

Here’s the explanation from the support documents.
[https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201697383-Why-is-Plex-New-Transcoder-using-my-CPU-when-nothing-is-playing-](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201697383-Why-is-Plex-New-Transcoder-using-my-CPU-when-nothing-is-playing-)

I think there are also a few threads where the question has been asked, you might be able to find them with a bit of searching. I don’t remember which boards I saw them in though.
