# What is plex intro detection?

Thank you… didnt know this existed… COOL  
However, is there a faster way to scan ALL tv series… I have to manually do analyze, then it works.

You should be able to run Analyze on the entire library. Check out this article: [Analyze Media | Plex Support](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289336-analyze-media/)

EDIT: It’ll also run automatically if you set it as a scheduled task.

Note too that it relies on a show having a relatively consistent intro so if it’s kinda randomly placed intro it doesn’t always catch it. I noticed for example that my Re: Zero S2 episodes don’t have skip intro because the season doesn’t have a regularly occurring intro; it only plays an intro on some episodes.

running analyze on whole tv series, does not work. But each season manually works. And it is setup scheduled task or when media added

If the introduction is shorter than 20 seconds, Plex won’t show you the skip button
