Could be. The plex app on the tv is also stupid old. Doesnt support live TV and its a pretty old interface with minimal settings, so maybe its the app?

After looking back through my reddit post, i remembered the xbox is properly passing DTS through to the soundbar, so I am pretty sure it must be the outdated Plex app on the TV.
Correction: a problem with Plex on the Vizio. As an example Kodi on my Sony Android TV also fails to passthrough DTS, while the TV itself is in general fine with it.
Right. I asked on another forum if the app will be updated, kind of a vague answer, so who knows if this problem will get fixed.
