Where does Plex store synced content? Thanks

On the server it will be: [path_to_plex]/Plex Media Server/Cache/Transcode/Sync+.

On the IOS client it will be within the Plex container.

So I'm specifically talking about the IOS client... what/where is the plex container. I'm wondering if I could copy some of my media from the IOS sync location to a location on an sd card from which I would play using a different app... basically I'm bummed out that the ipad can't take advantage of any kind of external storage and I'm trying to figure out a solution.

You can't access these files thru external apps.

Can we change where Plex stores the transcoded files? My boot drive isn't that big, but I've got lots of space on other system drives.

@tvmaster that is a question better asked in the Plex Media Server forum area.
