# Where does 'Record Label' data pull from?

Hi all, I have been obsessively editing MusicBrainz to fill in data for my library. However, I had a question about the "Record Label’ field. Does this pull from MusicBrainz or a linked AllMusic release? It would make sense for it come from MusicBrainz but this doesn’t appear to be the case.

False alarm, it does pull from MusicBrainz, but you have to refresh metadata from the artist rather than the album for the data to come through. Strange behavior but glad to have an answer. 🙂
