# Where is the Plex Media "Server" Supported autostart program/function/Service?

To my knowledge there’s no Plex-written method or tool to allow PMS to start automatically on Windows without a user having logged in.

There is however what might be considered a _sanctioned_ tool described in the How-To’s forum here:

Just pointing this tool out in case you weren’t aware of it; I understand that you’re looking for something written and supported by Plex.
