# Wheres the stop button

Just installed Plexamp on my Android phone, how do I stop a track playing ? I can pause but cant see an option to stop the track completely. ??

You can’t stop the track – pausing will basically do that while keeping the queue alive. This will persist until you start a new playback from your library or one of the mixes/stations.

Do you have a particular use case where you need to clear the queue or no longer want the option to pick up where you left?

Press and hold the pause button for 3 seconds while the track is playing and it will abruptly stop anything the player was playing. This action also completely clears the entire play queue.
