# Why are plex pushing updates each week

Normally public releases are about a month and about every two weeks or so for beta releases. If you look at the [release notes](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-media-server/30447/596) 1.32.6 and 1.32.7 were both pulled about a week or so ago due to an issue.

These have been re-released after being fixed with new build numbers which is why they came out so soon after the previous

As mentioned above you can set **Server version updates** to `Ask me` and it won’t try to install on it’s own during maintenance.
