Fortsetzung der Diskussion von [Plex Media Server](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-media-server/30447/547):

Hey guys, I’m just wondering why the Plex Web version of PMS is so far behind the hosted Plex Web version? I can understand that there’re reasons why the PMS version is behind a bit, but it has been 4 months since Plex Web was bumped.

The current version of PMS inherent Plex Web is version 4.87.2, which was released in early August.

As a user with their own Plex Domain and Proxy Server, I would love to see a bump, as there’re quite a bunch of good new features in the latest versions.

Maybe somebody can explain why there hasn’t been an update yet.

Best wishes boys and girls

> The Plex Web that comes with Plex Media Server is typically a stable release. This is so users will have fewer problems using it. Updates would require updating PMS, which can take time. We will update the bundled Web eventually, but for new features you should use the hosted Web.
