# Why no airplay in rasplex?

I know that has been discussed in several older threads. But I would like to know the current state. Will there ever be again support for airplay (audio) in rasplex? There are other Raspberry based audio players (e.g. volumeio) where airplay works fine with iOS devices.
See, the larger problem is that there is no Spotify channel for plex. Hence with a plex server and rasplex player I’m locked out of Spotify. I can’t have it from the server and I can’t stream through an iOS device.

rasplex is dead - there are no developers actually working on it.

Unfortunately. Sucks since RasPlex’s interface was exponentially superior to PMP’s. Still can’t stand PMP, so I’m still running the old version of RasPlex. Here’s hoping someone picks back up on RasPlex.
