# Will disabling Generate chapter thumbnails in Server Library setting remove thumbnails

Hey all,

Will disabling Generate chapter thumbnails in Server Library setting remove thumbnails that have already been created/being created by a script outside of plex?

If PMS sees and displays those thumbs then disabling and deleting them in

Will let you remove whatever you can.

so if I stop the task here, it wont stop deleting them, just making new ones correct:

Yes.

Turn all that off there as well as disable in the Library section settings (finer granularity)
