Hey everyone! I’ve done a little searching and I can’t seem to find anything on the subject, so I was wondering if someone could send a little knowledge my way. I hadn’t really used playlists in the past but I recently got all my star wars movies and tv shows on plex and thought it would be cool to have them all in a chronological order so I added them all to a playlist in order. I was hoping I’d be able to change the the cover for said playlist to just a star wars logo instead of the different movie/show covers but I there doesn’t seem to be an option for that or a work around that I can find. So I guess my question is will there ever be more customizable playlist options? Possibly even a “resume where left off” option in case I don’t want to spend the 3 days and 22 hours to watch it all in one sitting? I hope i’m posting this in the right category and not just totally missing something! I would love to hear your ideas or tips/tricks on the subject! Thanks! ---

you should be looking into collections… that’s going to allow a lot of what you’re looking for. since the recent updates, you’re able to show collections “in-line” with your movies. so instead of each individual star wars movie you could have 1 item with its own description and poster. by clicking on the collection you’ll have access to all related movies (sorted by [sort] title or release date). Here’s an example from the Plex documentation showing a Star Wars collection pre-play screen.
