# workarounds for the Flash issue

as long as there is no fix for it
You all know there is an issue with the latest Flash and Plex. If it is updated some video-plugins don't play video. There are many solutions from us users and I just want to ask you what is possible to make it into Plex.app.
As far as I understand you are not allowed to include Flash in Plex as Chrome is doing it. But is it possible to just use an other "Flash Player.plugin"? If that's possible you could add an option to manually choose a\*\* custom Flash\*\* which is for example located in ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Flash
Plex would then point to this file rather than to the file in /Library/Internet-Plugins
This "Flash Player.plugin" is not provided within Plex so the user has to manually add it. Is this allowed and possible to do?
If not could you consider to include my script from \*\*[PlexFix](http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/22537-plexfix/)\*\*? As it is only uninstalling and reinstalling Flash it shouldn't be a problem.
Or are you just about to release a proper fix for the issue?
