# Wrong Metadata for new shows

It matched immediately on my system. I’m running the same PMS version.

1. Did you use `Season 01` instead of `Season - 01`?

2. If using MP4 files, check embedded metadata. Use [MediaInfo](https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo) or similar tools.

3. [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) the entire show. This removes the incorrect metadata from the Plex database.

4. You can also add the [TVDB ID](https://www.thetvdb.com/series/american-horror-stories) to the folder name. Plex will use that to match the show.
