Well, well, well. That was pretty productive. After moving the WWE Smackdown back into my testing library and letting Plex churn away, Season 9 looks just fine. All the episodes are showing 2007 in the title. S09E05 is showing the correct poster and has the correct show summary. I can only guess that doing a refresh metadata doesn’t seem to do a complete refresh. Maybe something stays cached?
Doing the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) sure seemed to clean all the WWE Smackdown metadata out of my local DB. Once I put it back into the testing library Plex was forced to do a fresh pull from the Plex backend.

It should work for you as well. I have my server set to autoscan but if you don’t, you’ll need to either turn it on or do it manually.
