Any update on Chromecast support? Also, is it possible to port the Xplay app to Roku? Thanks for your time and great app. I have it on my LG Oled and on my Android phone and tablet. Love it and use them every day. Would love to have an xplay app on my parent’s Roku if possible. ---

@falang78 thank you for your interest in XPlay. The Chromecast suport is in the development stage but at present it is not ready for publication. Hope to finish it in next several months About Roku… I’ve taken a look at docs about this OS. This has its own development language and architecture so porting in this case is not an easy task. Even if we decide to port the app it will not be done soon. Sorry… ---

Is there any chance of releasing the android version of this with a different package name? Just as an apk would be fine! There is a long standing issue on Sony Bravia Android TVs where Sony won’t let you put the TV into 3D mode unless it’s one of their known apps. This can be got around with Kodi by compiling it with a different package name. Hello, I have an LG 55B8 and bought the app, but now I have a big problem. There are movie files which don’t play the first (and only important) audio track. For example, I have movies with different language audio tracks. The English (original) one is the only one I’m interested in, but, it just won’t play! The audio track shows up in the menu, but when I play the video, it automatically plays the next language. There is no way to play the first and English audio track, it just gets ignored? I can select the English audio, but it will just play Spanish or whatever is the second audio track. No way to get the original audio! Emby can play it in English without a problem and without transcoding, no problem! How can I resolve this issue, because it’s ridiculous to not being able to watch movies in their native language! Please advise for a solution, Thanks! ---

Hi DironDir, I wish that it was solved. The last page of that discussion talks about playing through a sony blu-ray player and there is a post from someone saying about file formats which is unfortunately not accurate. I understand your reluctance to release a custom version of the app, particularly as this is Sony’s fault! I’ll just have to use an external box instead of the android tv built in. Thanks Chris ---

Hi @DironDir, I noticed a little bug in version 1.46t: I have a 1960s TV series that is in mono AC3 (1 channel) With Xplay, the audio part is transcoded while with the official Plex application, I’m in direct play. Can you do something for that? Thank you ---
