That’s what the trial/demo period is for right, to see if it suits your needs? No one forced you to buy it and you could have tested it all. Your argument isn’t even valid since XPlay plays hardsubs and softsubs fine without transcoding. It works like a charm for me.
And i did the trial long time ago and tried a few different settings on files to see if i got anything going without transcode, got trough trial and everything did transcode( files with softsub that direct plays on pc, android(ext player) and samsung smartv) but because of coments like yours i came back and with no more trial i had to pay to actually see if some update helped my case, and its still the same, the truth is that in my case it just doesn’t work, now just jump in my shoes for a sec…
and not that i was rude or something…

And? What this post was about? If you dont like … dont need this app just dont use it … I dont force anyone to use it. This project was started as fun and because I did not like PlayZ UI. You can also start your own
You need to calm da fuq down… You take money for your work then take de critics like a grown men, i paid for an APP because i read a few people saying that it would do something i was looking for, it doesnt so excuse me if i show some miscontent for my purchase…
I dont see any critics from your post. You could test all functionality without any payments. And you must tell all your problems to LG instead of me. I just use functionality that LG gives me.

Well, the need arrived for reading the vanity cards at the end of some tv shows… But there should be other uses for this feature… For example, to look for details in a scene, perhaps.
It would help at least to move the play icon from the middle of the screen to the top left side of the screen (or somewhere else)… Just like the old VCRs did…
But, as I said, no big deal, XPlay is already fantastic, I am a happy customer!

I hope that is ok if i make a request here.
I will like to have the option to delay the subtitle. Not every subtitle perfectly fit and sometimes i need to adjust the time. Let’s say that for a max. 10 sec is ok with 0,5 sec steps.
I hope to have at least a response if it’s possible on next updates to have that option.

But the lg plex ver looks really bad contra Xplay.
Only thing i´m wondering about is the time marker has moved aprox 5-10 min to the right and not dead on…?

The main problem is that is certain circumstances its not possible to show embedded subtitles without transcoding. For eg if you have to English subtitles tracks only one can be shown without transcoding. It happens because webOS handle those tracks and show it on the screen. And the app only can ask webOS to show it by telling it language code …in reality I cant even know if subtitles was shown or not. As I already mentioned before … I can only ask … and because of this functionality I had problems with LG in last December .

Ye … some users already have requested this feature … but Ill probably add it to the major update. I dont think that new functionality will be added to current version. The last one was update functionality without LG QA … I can fix issues a bit faster way

You should understand that most of LG TV probably has not good enough Ethernet chip to get full 100mb bandwidth.And one more thing you should also know … if you use secured connections on your PMS it will also decrease you LG TV performance as it will spend more CPU power on decoding secured traffic instead of spending it on media decoding or something like that

nope … as a variant I can decrease time after that it hides controls
