Does the xPlay play files at 24hz? Just bought an LG b7, but I can’t check the current refresh rate…
It will just play according to what the hz of the source is, so in most cases 24hz yes (and then apply Real Cinema and/or True-Motion based on your settings for the XPlay source).
Not sure why there’s comments that 4k UHD rips don’t work.
I’m on 20180322.1.2.8 and UHD rips with HDR works on my B7 OLED. DTS-HD and True HD audio also down convert to core DTS and DD fine as well.
I have “Use direct play mode … “ checked in the settings.
Running into an issue, hopefully someone can help. I run PMS via a the Linuxserver docker container on unRAID. Ever since my PMS container updated, XPlay on one of my LG TVs will not load in. The app loads and I am able to select a profile, but it just continuously loads.
I don’t believe this is an issue with my server, as I have another LG TV with XPlay and it connects just fine. I already reset the TV, tried WiFi, tried network cable, etc, nothing works. I also checked firewall logs on my router and nothing is being blocked.
Any ideas?
TV: LG 43UF6430 with XPlay app on latest versions for OS and app

Unfortunate LG did not allow me to publish new major update as a separate app to allow users to choose what UI they like.
To publish new version as an update over current version it must be translated to those languages that are supported by current app version

@bublikoff - can you post some screenshots of the new UI so that I can decide whether I want to stay on the old version or update to the new one when and if LG allow it to be uploaded - as I gather from this news if I update my xplay app should LG allow you to upload your new version I WONT be able to roll back to my current version.

I think I like the current version better… the new one looks too hard trying to be like Plex app
Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this issue? My PMS docker has updated and restarted several times since the issue started and I still cannot connect. But, the regular Plex app connects just fine.
New version looks great, very clean!!! I sent the Spanish translation to ur email 
Bought it today.
Problems I have with it are:
- audio files with more than two channels gets mixed down to stereo
- navigation loading doesn’t have a timeout, had to force close multiple times
- navigating to the arrows on the pages are really wonky
I’m on the hungarian (Magyar) translate.
Could you please send me the hungarian language file for the current version?
Can I test somehow my translate?
- That is why Ive tried to split them into two separate apps. But LG does not allow to do that.
- Its not Plex client as it is as Ive seen only some sceens of it … I even dont remember Ive tried it or not … So it can nor be a Plex client clone … but according to screen that Ive seen they have some common things. Any way new client aims to have cleaner UI … less elements on the screen

Have you tried to use for eg channel scrolling buttons or wheel on magic remote?
Yep, scroll wheel works. Not very intuitive due to it being horizontal though.
I was thinking to implement product tour in new version … but for the moment it’s not finished … maybe a bit later will be enabled … for the moment it’s switched off
