Hi. Im wondering if anyone has a working solution for dimming lights when playing something on the plex app with Xiaomi Yeelight lightstrip? ive been looking at solutions such as ifttt and homeassistant but cant find anything that works at all. How we connect to plex server is by android app and then casting the screen to a v2 chromecast. I would like to get the Yeelight lightstrip to dim off when playing and light up when pausing or stopping. Cheers 🙂 ---

There’s none that I myself am aware of, but sounds like something similar to [HelloHue](https://github.com/ledge74/HelloHue.bundle) would be perfect, though this is obviously only for Philips Hue systems. Not sure how simple it would be to configure if there isn’t a bridge device acting as the center of operations. Hopefully somebody has something in the works! ---

Yeah I’m trying to do the same thing. One thought I did have was to use HA Bridge and HelloHue. But so far cant get them to talk to one another. ---

I just finished setting up Kodi with this feature and really like it… But now I am searching for the same to plex and found this topic… Waiting for plex to add this feature soon… ---
