# "Your changes could not be saved" For All Preferences

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6550  
Player Version#: 4.99.2 (Web)

Any server setting that I try to change results in the error “Your changes could not be saved”. I’ve tried restarted the container.

The [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) have no entries about the preferences not being saved either.

Where are the preferences actually saved, in com.plexapp.plugins.library.db?  
I have gone through the steps to detect a corrupt database and it returns “OK”. I even did a dump and reload of the database but it still doesn’t seem to work.
