My request is being able to hide certain TV shows/Movies from my admin profile and other local profiles to do the same. The example being my wife watches a lot of TV shows and Movies I have no interest in. Same with my wife, i would like to hide certain TV Shows/Movies from her that she has no intrest in to keep our library’s simple. Right now without this feature my recently added or unwatched is polluted with her movies and tv shows ill never watch.
You can’t hide anything from the Admin account. That would negate the purpose of the account. The admin can hide things from other accounts in a few different ways.

OK i understand the not hiding from an admin account. As far as I can see I can only hide whole libraries instead of individual media.
Here’s how to set restrictions per user, based on ratings or labels. This will require you to add labels to your media, which you can read about here.
I use different folders to separate content that is only of interest to me and then set restrictions.
What if the user wants to hide content for themselves? It sounds like the admin has to do everything in this case.
I see this as becoming more imperative with the DVR feature. As only admin account can record my Recently Added or On Deck section is being filled with my wife’s tv show recordings. I don’t want to see these. Whether admin or not it’d be nice to be able to say what gets displayed in my On Deck or Recently Added. May be add a favourites feature and only allow those shows to be displayed?

Just add mangaged users for you and for your wife. You can restrict by tags so you only see what you want to see.
