I have a plex server that I use to stream movies and TV shows to family members. There are about 8 managed users on my server. I have run into the problem where my sister asks me for this show or that show, and even though she watches these shows, I do not, nor would I ever want to. I realize that I could create another managed user for myself and then create a separate library for her with all her junk in it, but why not just add the ability to hide shows from your screen that you do not watch, so they do not exist on your screen at all. Then just add a link on the left for hidden shows, if you would like to unhide any of them for whatever reason.
Currently I am just clicking watched on every show so that it does not pop up in my ON DECK. However, as soon as a new show airs, it pops in again. And I do not want the show as “UNWATCHED” as I keep track of what needs to be watched with those triangles in the corner. I feel like this would be a very useful addition to the software. I can’t be the only one who runs into this.
