I'm not sure how complicated this gets, but having the ability to select a movie and then have the option to play it in 3-D or not. I'm not sure how others are handling this, but I have some movies that having this option would be really cool.
The only downside I see is that programs such as Couchpotato would need to be upgraded as well to allow to have two versions of a file within the same directory, but I think that is easy enough to do.
If Plex would maybe look at the file name and see if ".3D." was there, then it could mark the movie as 3D. Then in the database, I could then filter and do other things as well. It would also allow the ability to play which version of the movie if it found an additional one.
A request for the same feature exists now, and it has gathered more votes than this one.
