Allow users to submit error reports to the server manager.
Within the Pause Menu of any movie or television show and on the Plex homepage, please add a button that allows a user (friends of servers) to send error reports to the server manager. This report would then go to the managers inbox within the servers web settings. The report would include the time code of the video, titles, if there Plex software is up to date, and any relevant system data (ie: ping, transfer speed, os). Options should be added for the manager to change the style of the report, what can be included, and who can report.
Different styles can include:
An open dialogue box for users to explain exactly the problem with a character limit.
A list of problem topics predetermined by the server manager that the user can select to categorize the error.
I would like to see this more in the announcement area, or a separate area similar to announcements. This could stem from anything like buffering issues, cubs out of synch or for wrong video, or mis-labeled videos.
This gives the users a way to give the admin some sort of feedback on the system as a whole or the videos individually or collectively. I don't want to have my email in-box flooded, nor my cell getting a bunch of extra push notifications, but when I log into the Web App as admin, I want to see issues that have cropped up.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
