Can't add series to watchlist but can add movies

It would be completely not useful to me and annoy me greatly.

I’m not saying some other feature could not exist to do what you want but I don’t think a watchlist should do that. . I’m not a fan trying to repurpose something designed for a specific purpose to do something else.

There is an existing Add to Queue but it will queue up the entire season from that episode. Though you can rearrange it.

For what it is worth if you are viewing in the web app you can select the three individual things in CW by clicking on the circle on top left of posters and then hit play on the multi select bar on top to to play those episodes in a play queue which you can then rearrange again in the queue if you wanted to.

I think what we are coming down to is that I view a watchlist one way and you view it a different way.

I think they Add to queue == all entire season to queue as “wrong” behavior too. They used to do that when they supported podcasts. Again, I don’t want all podcast episodes or all TV episodes added to the queue, just one. And this queue is something that drains each item as I listen to them. I want to pick and arrange the new stuff myself.

Hmm… The multiselect CW and hitting play might work. BTW doing the 3 dot menu and Add to queue makes a nice little queue! Thanks for the tip! Alas though, a common use case for me is to use Plex Web and my desire is to fill a queue, perhaps watch an episode or two at my desktop using my 2nd monitor, and then say to myself “Let’s continue to watch on the big screen in the living room”. But this queue I created on Plex Web is not on Plex on my Vizio TV. Bummer! I do that a lot with YouTube where throughout the day I toss things in Watch Later, perhaps watch a few on the Desktop, then go over to my living room TV and continue watching the Watch Later queue as that is shared between YouTube on the Web and YouTube on my Vizio TV.

I personally agree with that and was just discussing it with others.

Just want to make it clear that just because I don’t personally want individual seasons/episodes to be on a watch list or a watchlist to be treated like a play queue, does not mean I won’t mention this topic/wish to others who will ultimately make the decision whether to add that feature or not.

Cool, cool, and thank you. Perhaps they could implement it in such a way that you could configure it your way and I can configure it mine.
