This doesn’t solve the issue b/c the projector can only display the 16:9 format. This has been documented in many posts, however, it’s not always clear. Please see this post for a better explanation of the issue.

UI Setting to always support Widescreen cinematic format for home theater projectors

As the widescreen aspect ratio becomes more popular, many homeowners are building theaters in the widescreen format (2.4:1, 2.35:1 as examples).
