There will be an initial phase of higher system load, during which Plex is identifying your media, fetching metadata and generating seek thumbnails, among other things.

Time that you wish Plex to do schedule Tasks and not interfere with your everyday stuff.
In Library settings you can set to automatically scan your Library or elect to do partial and Periodically.
It is scheduled. You can define a time span per day where Plex is allowed to do housekeeping.
That’s correct, I set it to early morning prior to waking.

If you don’t need chapters you could turn it to “never” otherwise all good. Scheduled task your preference
