[implemented] Native Plex Agents: Allow access to external provider ids for media (eg; IMDb, TMDb, TVDb)

+1 for this feature to be added back

Because you use multiple sources to come up with the data I would prefer to have a list of all those sources used. So if you match both an imdb and a tvdb then I could see both and use whatever I wanted.

This means you could match trakt, rotten tomatoes, etc.

A post was split to a new topic: Two way sync for tv shows

Please restore!

+1 to add this back

another +1 to add this back, makes sense to have the provider ids provided by the apis

+1 - was a great feature!

+1 Please.

Support for external IMDb/TMDb id’s has been added to the native movie agent in the upcoming 1.20.1 release which should be available for Plex Pass users later this week/early next week.

We still have the primary guid as plex:// but will we now include additional GUID id’s in the XML like so;

...
<Guid id="imdb://tt1385826"/>
<Guid id="tmdb://38050"/>
...

NOTE: In order for this to show up in the response you will need to do a Refresh all Metadata on your library after upgrading to PMS 1.20.1

Perfect.

Does this also apply to MusicBrainz with the music agent?

@chrisallen thanks for the excellent work in getting the IDs back! Maybe this post can be closed since the feature has now been added (so people can get their votes back)?

This feature request is closed. All votes can be re-cast on other topics.
