Isnāt it 2019? Even sites like Floatplane Media, which isnāt even officially launched, have 2FA.
Can we at the very least get an extremely basic OTP via a QR code/mobile app of our choosing? By this point the SMS boat has sailed when mobile carriers get phished with little effort.

+1 here! Why you no 2FA yet? Seriously, it is paramount for keeping accounts secure. Donāt skimp on it and only do SMS 2FA as well!

SMS will be costly for Plex, but you can always send a notification to a specific Plex app on a phone.
Oh God, no! Never ever consider SMS as an acceptable security measure. TOTP or U2F is the only way to go.

This needs to happen, and it needs to happen soon.
Donāt even bother with two step sms auth, just use 2fa with recovery codes. SMS route isnāt needed.
This feature voiced out 3 years ago, but still missing this necessary features, disappointedā¦and what is the reason? Plex security is sucks.
