Yes, please!

Sounds like a great idea to me. Really important nowdays, so, does anybody knows if Plex is working on that? By the way, social loging is not safe, I would like to see some high security methods like U2F Keys for avanced users and SMSs or emails links for non-advanced users.

This needs to happen imo…

Please make this a thing. Preferably with google authenticator.

+1 - this is a must

+1 This needs to be implemented. I’ve strengthen my webapps with 2fa and reverse proxy, could do it for plex too but there is plex.tv/app

I need this…

Can’t understand any company which doesn’t support 2FA.

+1 That would legen… wait for it… DARY !

Yes please!

Very surprised that this isn’t a required feature. Especially when you have to expose ports to the internet when you want to use some of the advanced features. Seems like a massive oversight.

Very much agree. In this day and age, all new online services should include 2-factor authentication as standard. Low consumer adoption rate? Maybe. But this is just a default part of any decent offering nowadays, in my opinion.
Please PLEX, not having this, despite your other innovations, just looks odd.and the more time goes on, the more irresponsible you will appear.

Get this out the door using third party TOTP - I’ll use it the second it is released.

Should definitely be an option what with security getting harder and harder to properly implement nowadays.

i Agree, please add 2fa @plex

Definitely though an app (TOTP or similar), and not via an email, SMS, or other less secure means please.

It would be nice to know how the Plex creators feel about MFA.

MFA is needed. Please add this feature.

TOTP based second factor authentication is not hard to implement. I use TOTP with Nextcloud everyday. Plex should add it sooner than later.
