Did the new version of Qt come out to correct the problem and the build bug get resolved from back in May? I see the reviews for this player in snap store are dismal because the player fails to execute on what is the now the default display server for Ubuntu. Maybe the snap app description should mention you need to use X11.
Still not fixed but Plex-desktop on wayland (cc: tamas) - snap - snapcraft.io seems to imply that at least the issue is understood … not sure when the patch is expected, though. Latest stable versions do not work out of the box.
