Music scanner scans entire music collection when new content added

I have two artists with album counts in the hundreds, I feel your pain.

Just a heads up that it looks like the re-traversing an entire artist when an album is added will be adjusted in an upcoming release thankfully

Redownloading Metadata On Music Library each Scan/Update

I know this isn’t the topic for discussion on this, so where can I find more info about this feature and how to use it? I tried a search in my music library and it showed the same results as it did before this update (I’m on v. 1.20.0.3133).
