There already exist a number of related feature suggestions. It seems most of them were created before the Plex forums moved to this platform, so there’s no votes / likes at this point of time…
On the Plex app for iOS, if you open a video playlist and select a video, it automatically starts the video. It would be great if it would first bring up the video details screen as it would if I were navigating my library directly. I often sort videos into playlists, but before playing a particular video, I want to see the description or possibly play the trailer. Instead when I find a movie from a playlist which I am interested in watching, I have to back out of my playlist > find the video …
I noticed that if you select a movie from a playlist, it immediately starts playing the movie. It’d be nice for it to first pull up the info/synopsis page first. If this isn’t desired behavior by most, at least something you can click/select while on the playlist to get the info on that movie before choosing/playing it.
I have a playlist of movies I specifically want to watch. While others were browsing my playlist to choose something to watch next, they had no way to know what the movie was ab…
