Feature should be optional for those that don’t have a GPU on their server to still support Intro/Credit Detection.
It would be nice to allow users who have a GPU on their server for Transcoding to also use it for Intro/Credit Detection, reducing load on CPU. This could also help speed up the detection.
Keep in mind this won’t currently provide much value for intro detection as this relies entirely on audio analysis (no graphics / video processing involved).
Think about AI, it can process audio and Video through a GPU. Just thinking about Feature for possible future release, I know its not a part of Plex Today!
