I tried to find a photo category to be able to read what others have proposed in that area but since I can’t find it I will put my thoughts here.

  • I would love if the photo scanner could read titles and other information from photos that could be displayed along with the photos.
  • Can I allow users of my Plex server to upload photos? If not I would appreciate that also.

Plex should offer keyword tags and ratings to filter photos.

I agree that I would like to see more capabilities that you see in photo album software. Adding text instead of using file name, categorixzing, different view options, ability for users to share their content. I understand that this would take the functionality a little bit out of the mainstream but as it is now I have to use other software to share photos and I would prefer to use one tool instead of many.
