I don’t think I’m using the beta, I used the link on the homepage and I also tried the script from @odinb1. I’ve noticed on the homepage that although we don’t need a Plex pass anymore for Plexamp, it does state *Plex pass required under the link for the headless download. I assumed that was old and was missed during the homepage cleanup. Or does the headless version require a pass?

Thanks. You do see how confusing it is when you advertise to the world that Plexamp no longer requires a Plex pass? Except for 1 device? (tic)

Well the good news is now it’s working. Sort of. The install was hacked to pieces by me in an effort to get it to work with my previous attempts. So it eventually crashed with fatal node error and the plexamp.service refuses to start because of “too many restarts”. I will be starting again on a fresh system when I have time to fix it properly.
@modkiefer My Bad, I read your post to fast and though you were asking for help,. I now see you were providing a simple walk through recipe. Thanks. for the additional info.
