Seeing the same issue as described there but it appears they are pointing to plex Server via plexapi as the issue.

Are there any new APIs for the DVR parts of Plex?

Ideally Iā€™m looking for options to:

  1. Get a list of all scheduled recordings
  2. Start a scheduled recording manually *
  3. End a scheduled recording manually *
  • This would need a configuration option in PLEX so that it doesnā€™t stop and start the recording itself, something like ā€œAllow third party applications to control the start/stop of scheduled recordingsā€

My idea is to be able to improve the recording aspects of the Plex DVR. We can already replace the guide with one of our choosing using XMLTV. So what I would like to do is build a program that would retrieve the start/stop signals from Freeview (UK) to implement accurate recording.

No such thing sadly, but in the WebClient, in debug mode, you should be able to capture the calls
