So has PLEX actually ever added something since Web Shows was launched? Seems like a dead product now.

I’d like to see you partner with a service like Netflix that allows you to incorporate movies into a personal database. So while i’m looking for something in my library, may it be the Movies section. I can search in my personal library with my personal movies and netflix movies in the movie section of my plex media server. Same for TV Shows. I know this isn’t a web show suggestion.

There are ample tech and media suggestions, so I’ll go in a different direction.
I’d love to see various sport and fitness topics added.
There are a bunch of Global Cycling Network properties, all free and on YouTube. (GCN Show, GCN Tech, GCN Racing, GCN MTB, etc)
I’d also love to see some Crossfit-related content.
Obviously pulling from my own interests, which also overlap with a lot of the tech and cooking comments above.

I could come up with a lot more, I would really prefer to be able to add my own choices without having to hope you come up with a partnership with content providers that I’d be interested in watching. Unless you have a large staff to take care of this project, I think it’s just going to be a flop. Please fix it or bring back the plugins so I can do it my self.
This is my only issue with Plex, I really enjoy the software aside from this.
To my knowledge, nothing has been added since this thread was created. Its just a feel good thread so people can make recommendations which are then ignored.
I believe web shows are a dead feature for PLEX and will probably be deprecated soon in a future update.

I was actually here to ask for ideas about how to collect The Hill’s new web show Rising, which is usually posted broken up into segments on TheHill.com, and is also available on YouTube but is not easy to watch there. I’d love to be able to follow it regularly over Roku instead of having to poke around on the YT channel or figure out some kind of scripted harvesting which seems too difficult.
They’re already listed under podcasts with only the audio streams, but having Video Streams would be way better.
