Is there a space between the single quotes or space before both?
wondering if you add script to one clipboard to copy from it’ll be easier for people to transfer. There are five sections to copy from on your post.
Hope you solve the ascii chars problem, looks like difficult text files to get your head around!
There are no spaces, see if the below displays any better.
data2 = data2.replace(/[^\x20-\x7E]/g, ‘’); // Remove non printable chars
I’ve no idea why the code posts to the forum as it does, its one paste. I’ll be continuing with the ascii chars problem, so there may be a new version if I get it resolved!
I appreciate the Raspberry Pi workaround, but I really do not want to have to go that route… That’s just one more piece added to my puzzle of devices…lol. How do we get the developers to remove the jpg from the webhook event.play payload? This would be so simple to implement with webcore if they’d just make one simple change… Are they monitoring this? I became a plex pass member for this feature only to discover the one I need the most (event.play) does not work for me without adding another band-aide fix/workaround.
I think i did put this in as a request to plex, but assume its never been implemented.
The problem is that webcore can not handle the message. Are you using ST or HE? I’m on ST, but think the HE implementation of webcore may be more up to stage on HE, so it may work on there.
There’s probably more change of getting webcore fixed to handle the message, than plex putting on option on the user hook
