I was having this issue with some .avi files. At first I thought it was because I had changed the security of my WiFi network. My XBox 360 is using the 2.4 GHz band of my router. Initial testing appears to prove that it is working now. I added the IP address to the list of addresses that do not require authentication to stream videos. This setting can be found in the web app on the server. Go to settings > Server > Network. You can add all of the IP addresses of your house there. For now at least this seams to have remedied this issue for me.

Videos out of sync with Xbox 360 only, any other viewing methods works perfectly. running on my Plex media server on Ubuntu.
Driving me crazy there’s gotta be a fix!
