OK I was able to do a little more testing today and it does not seem to be linked to playing the longer videos. I can play any video once. After playing any video once, you cannot play that video again. The next day, it starts all over again and you can play any video once. It doesn't matter what client I use to watch a video, after I have watched the video once on any client, it will not play the second time on that client or any other client.
On PMC, Burning Love episodes (the longer videos) will play all the way thru the first time you start them in PMC, even if they have failed in other clients, but will not play a second time. All other shows in PMC fail the first time, if they have been played first by another client. The error message is just "Error while opening this file."
On Roku, I can play any video once, as long as it is not longer than four minutes. Videos that are longer than four minutes play to the four minute point and then kick me out. The error message in Roku is the "video unavailable."
On Plex/Web, the longer videos will play all the way thru the first time, but on the second run you get an error no matter what resolution you choose. The error is "Cannot load MU38: 404 not found." On the second try of Burning Love episodes in Plex/Web, if I choose the same quality as before, it takes me to the Yahoo Screens website. If I choose another quality, it gives the 404 error.
I have also tried restarting PMS but that does not clear the error. Only time makes the shows work again.
As I said, as far as the coding of the channel, I took out any cache coding from the channel after your suggestion and I thought it may have to do with the parameters YahooScreen puts on its urls, but it does the same thing with the Animal All Star videos, which do not have any parameters on the urls.
The logs show no errors just the Response: [200] MediaContainer when trying to play the video. When I open the Burning Love show in Roku, I do get "WARNING (objectkit:193) - Media part has no streams - attempting to synthesize" which may be why that show cuts off at the four minute mark in Roku and not in the other clients.
