I use accounts in my plex so that I can restrict certain content from my kids. I realized that I could not let my kids watch live TV unless they were logged into my account. This would be great if you could add this feature support. Thanks for such an amazing product!!!
Dear Plex, if I gave you money out of my wallet could you make this happen?
A Prince emailed me and wrote that all I need to do is donate mad money to his fund and he would make any feature a reality in Plex 
ok ok for reals… it is a planned feature, though we can’t provide a specific ETA it should be out sometime in Q4. Sorry I can’t be more precise with that.

Why is sharing Live TV to managed Users more difficult to get working, than sharing other Libraries with managed users?
Should it not be exactely the same from the Software perspective? So enabling this should be rather easy from the Software perspective, not sure if there are any legal problems here.
There has to be a solution, as sharing all content from the Main Account for enabling Live TV clearly is no option.

We’ve still got some time before Q4 is over and we’re expecting it sometime next month. This functionality takes longer because it requires every client app also update, not just server. Client teams also work on fixing bugs, so their time is not solely devoted to work on a single feature at a given moment.
Has this been implemented? I found instructions instructions in the FAQ (“Allowing Plex Home members to watch Live TV”) but that option (Allow Access to Live TV) is not available to me. Is it still on the beta channel, perhaps?
