I also just looked. Running PMS beta branch 1.11.0.4633 and no option to share live TV.

Now that it has been announced I can comment. You should see it as soon as the feature is enabled. Guess Marketing put word out a little earlier than expected. I have posted on internal message board so hopefully someone from Plex will see it soon.

I swear I saw the “Allow Access to Live TV” yesterday when I happened to be looking at my Plex Home User settings. Now it’s not showing up. Maybe the hosted web app got updated inadvertently, then got rolled back.

+1. I guess I’ll stop futzing with things assuming it’s me, when it appears it’s widespread. Thought I had an early Christmas wish answered, but I’m seeing same behavior. Will it take another Media Server update to enable, I’d assume?

Same here - Cannot see the “Allow Access to Live TV” - I am running Version 1.11.0.4633

I was so excited to see this possibility. And then, no checkbox at my end. Lots of fiddling (restarts, created user again) and I finally came to forum. Great to see I’m not the only one. And glad to see it’s progressing.

Honestly, DVR, Live TV, and now PlexAmp, you Plex people rock! Thanks.

Tuner sharing should be out for all Plex Pass users as of now. You need to be on the latest version of PMS. If you still don’t see it, use the hosted Plex Web app.

I am now able to see the “Allow Access to Live TV” in the Home Users setup. Thanks!

I still cannot see it in my server. I have installed the 4633 version of PMS

UPDATE: But they still don’t see the option to watch tv.

Same here. I enabled it but when I switch to the other user it can’t see Live TV.

In the email sent out this morning. Should have received one on the email address you registered with.

Allow access to Live TV
Enabling this option will allow this user to access Live TV streams. It requires a library on the Plex Media Server that has DVR configured to be shared with the user.

What does this mean? I see no library options about DVR. How do I configure a DVR with a library?
