I have run into an issue were if I start watching a channel, like CBS for the Chargers game of the week, on my Chromecast with Google TV in the living room. And I want to have that same channel using my Pixel Tablet in the kitchen. And I do that any amount of time after I start watching the channel on the first device, the second Android mobile will start at the time when I started watching on the first, not the current live broadcast. If the program was something I recorded, it will always start at the beginning of the recording never gives the option to play live anymore. I used to record all the football games so that If I wanted to start from the beginning, I had the option.
It doesn’t seem to matter what the first devices is, as long as the second device is an Android Phone or Tablet.
If I try and watch that same channel on our other Chromecast with Google TV, it just tunes in live.
