While Plex experiments with their various transcoding methods, I request we be able to disable all transcoding, especially that which doesn’t help capturing a pure .ts stream while recording with the DVR feature. There are too many releases of PMS which cause us Plex Pass DVR users to lose recordings because of this. Continue to experiment, but give us Plex Pass users a way to disable your experimental transcoding and just capture the pure .ts stream like you did back in version 1.6 (which worked fine) so we can still experience the new features you release while still being able to use the DVR feature to do what it should do (which is still in Beta?)
Holding back at v1.9.7.4460 until DVR issues are fixed.
P.S. Not using Live TV so don’t know why my simple DVR recordings are being transoded just to write to disk.
