Request Features - Hide or Selective display per User

I have plex pass and I am interested in seeing a feature that will allow me to hide certain TV shows from other users. Or give the users abilities to Hide what shows they are not interested in.
My TV show home screen gets pretty crowded with shows that my users do not care for but some do. I would like make it look cleaner for them and me.
I hope I have described my request good enough.

The way around this would be separate libraries for each user and restrict it that way but that just moves the mess to the home screen which I am to OCD for that.

Thank you and wondering if anyone else would see use in this.

Since you have a Plex Pass, you can restrict access using ratings or labels. You can’t hide stuff, as there is no blacklist option, it has to be whitelisted, but you could create a label called “Bob” and Bob would only have access to these items.

I would love to be able to have the option to hide specific shows or let users who access my library hide shows they don’t want to see.

I don’t have an issue with my family having unrestricted access to my libraries, but I know that I have stuff they have no desire to watch. When they browse my library, they have to go through everything just to see what is new that they do want to watch.

It seems cumbersome to have me label everything by “Bob”, and have them text, email, call me for every show they aren’t interested in.

A potential workaround with the existing label system would be allowing the user to remove the label. It would need a confirmation pop up just to make sure since only the owner could add the label back. At the very least it would be a workaround with the existing options.

Looks like there about 7 different feature request threads all saying basically this one feature… should probably be consolidated and included on a most popular feature thread…

Early 2021 clean-up: implemented (Plex Home, restricting shares, parental controls)
